Statement

My work is based on photos and video footage I take on a regular basis, then transform digitally (keeping only what I think is essential) and paint or edit (video).

The path reflects my personal experience as someone who moved often, as an emigrant, as a mother, and my strong interest and attachment for the landscapes where I live or that I visit (and visited since I was a child).

I like to experiment with space and work on large scale installations. I usually work in series that I re-organized and develop through time.

I use both traditional and nontraditional medium: murals and paintings, drawings, video, and photography. Also prints, furniture, decals, and found objects. Some parts of the installations, like the murals, are ephemeral.
